Booking Policy
​​At BXJ BRAID STUDIO, we value our clients' time and strive to provide exceptional service. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all, we have established the following Booking Policy and Appointment Requirements:
APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING:
Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in-person.
A valid name, phone number and/or email address is required to confirm appointments.
We recommend scheduling appointments at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability.
ONLINE BOOKING DEPOSIT:
A $25 deposit is required for all online bookings.
The deposit will be applied to your service total on the day of your appointment.
Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
DAILY WALK-IN OPPORTUNITIES:
We reserve a limited number of spots for daily walk-in appointments.
Walk-in appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please arrive early to secure a spot, as walk-in availability is not guaranteed.
PAYMENTS:

We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Zelle).​

​TIPPING:
Tipping is optional but appreciated.
Tips may be added to the preferred payment method or given in cash.
PACKAGE AND SPECIAL DEALS:
Payment for packages and special deals must be made in full at the time of booking.
No refunds will be issued for unused services in packages and special deals.
Appointments booked from package plans and special deals are EXCLUDED from deposit and consultation requirements.
CANCELLATION:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of $25.
Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and a $25 fee.
If at any time stylist cancels an appointment, clients will receive their deposit back in full.
RESCHEDULING:
Rescheduling requests made with at least 24 hours' notice will not incur a fee.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of $25.
LATE ARRIVAL:
If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, your service time may be shortened to ensure timely service for other clients.
In extreme cases, late arrival may result in cancellation of the appointment and/or a $25 fee.
If at any time stylist is more than 15 mins late, client will receive $20 off remaining balance.
NO-SHOW:
Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and a $50 fee.
Repeated no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the service fee and refusal of future appointments.
PRE-BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:

All new clients are required to consult with one of our professionals before scheduling hair care services. Services scheduled without consultation will be cancelled or rescheduled until the consultation is complete.
Walk In Appointments are EXCLUDED from consultation requirements.
Please make sure to book the correct service. Contact us immediately after booking for any changes or corrections. Once your appointment is approved changes will NOT be accepted at scheduled time of service.

Service Durations Times are estimated for general scheduling. Please be mindful that some styles may take longer than expected.

Colors 1,1B,2,4 Kanekalon braiding hair and accessories are included in the pricing.
*Human Hair Boho Curls, Special Colors, and BXJ Braid Blend MUST be purchased as an Add On.
At checkout you can include special details or request like design specifics or accessory colors, that may be needed for your appointment.

Please check the box to opt-in for a friendly SMS appointment reminder. This reminder will be sent 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

No extra people are allowed during your scheduled appointment, unless they too have booked services or you have child(ren) that need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children under 10 years old MUST be accompanied by parent/guardian during entire service or waiting period.

PRE-INSTALL REQUIREMENTS:

All clients are required to have natural hair freshly washed before scheduled appointment. Blow Dry services can be purchased as an Add On. Clients hair must be at least 3-4 inches long and free of any oils/products.​

​​COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS:
​
Mask are available upon request and can be worn during your entire session. If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please do not book. If you have already booked and become ill before your scheduled appointment, please contact us immediately to cancel or reschedule.
